Trott Communications Group, Inc. (“Trott”) is an independent engineering firm formed in January, 1978 to provide services to the Public Safety, Land Mobile and Telecommunication industries. We are independent of all equipment manufacturers and have no vested interest in the sale of any communications equipment. Trott is certified and registered by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers (registration number F-000134). With offices located in Irving , Texas , Trott has a staff of nine full-time employees, two of which are Licensed Professional Engineers in the State of Texas . The firm has six engineers, all having Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (“BSEE”) degrees from accredited universities. Trott offers a wide array of professional services to meet the needs of its clients, which stem from the Public Safety, Utility, Transportation, Common Carrier, Business, Industrial and Cellular industries.  

Services provided by Trott include 800 MHz Rebanding engineering services, Public Safety and other needs assessments studies, project management, specification preparation, propagation analyses, system performance analyses, extensive testing of installations, RF exposure compliance, FCC licensing activities, dispatch center design for Public Safety projects, including site selection and site acquisition.  

Trott is currently working with the DFW Airport as its technical representative for its 800 MHz rebanding needs.
